⚙️Troubleshooting and Tips
AI video generation can sometimes be unpredictable. If you're having trouble getting it to do what you want, try these tips.
Keep it simple.
AI often struggles juggling multiple details or instructions. The more things you include in your prompt, the more things the AI can stumble on.
Take a look at the two videos below. They were made using the same model, and the same settings. The first video used a more complex prompt, while the second one used a simple prompt.
Video 1 - Complex Prompt
follow a big dog walking through the snowy woods. its fur is fluffy and warm, and the sun shines through the trees. birds flit by overhead. the snow makes crunching sounds as the dog walks. wind ripples through the trees. you can see steam in the air from it's hot breath.
Video 2 - Simple Prompt
follow a big dog walking through the snowy woods.
See the difference? In the first video, the birds flying overhead lack detail and disappear into thin air, and the dog's body morphs weirdly when it turns around. Compare that to the second video that used a simple prompt, which has no issues or errors. Keep your prompt as simple as possible to minimize potential errors or issues.
Retry your prompt with a different model.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. It's true with AI video generation too. Each model used for video generation has different strengths and weaknesses. Something that Kling struggles with might be something that Sora is very good at, for example. Take a look at the two videos below. Both were generated using the following prompt:
Sharp dressed man giving a speech on a city street to a small, casual group of people.
Kling Result
Sora Result
The differences speak for themselves- Sora is clearly better for this particular prompt. In order to get the most of your Footage experience, try out multiple models to see which works best for your specific request. You may be surprised by the difference in quality!
